Nestle India Ltd, one of the biggest players in FMCG segment, has recently launched a virtual internship programme ‘Nesternship’. It is as a part of the company’s global youth initiative, ‘Nestlé Needs Youth‘ for graduates in the final year of any discipline and the post-graduates.The programme has been introduced amidst the pandemic to offer the YOUTH an opportunity to upskill and enhance their employability and competence.
About internship
The programme has introduced virtual internship opportunities to 1,000 young professionals across diverse functions and education backgrounds over the next four months.It will go live on 1st August 2020 and will continue for four months, upskilling 250 interns every month till end of November.The registrations for the internship programme began from 8 July 2020, and are being communicated through social media accounts of Nestlé such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram as well as Internshala website. The first round of internships is live and can be applied to by 11 Jul 2020.
Any student irrespective of their field/stream can apply for the internship. The shortlisting will be carried, keeping in mind various parameters, including high school marks, graduation score, and other elements like previous experiences or internships.
Nesternship will also offer a platform for developing the soft skills of the interns through pre-recorded learning sessions. In addition to the Nesternship, and soft skills training, Nestlé India may also run a CV clinic for the interns to help them enhance their employability , as stated by Nestlé.
Interested candidates may apply apply through Internshala, an internship and online training platform. They can also refer to the social media handles of Nestlé India and send their applications.
